I'm debating hosting a Rokkitball Tournament depending on if there is a desire for it.  I know I'm having fun with the game on a pub level.  Lets take it to that next level of competition!

I would love to see a tournament. Although, still very early...
Lots is still in the stage where everyone runs to the ball like headless chickens  Undecided

Would be great fun. This game grows on you and it reminds me of speedball crossed with tr2.

I  Have many ideas for all of these games essentially rokkitball ok It would be great if in rokkit ball there would be differnt modes like,RACE,DESTRUCTION,And Free Ball for ALL

Aye, the game is definitely in the early stages of development still, but why not attempt competitive level play?  That being said, I notice most of the poll results are positive, though people do not have teams to play on.  Would those of you who voted (or have yet to vote) be interested in being assigned a team if you cannot field one yourself.  That can also be arranged.

I think even for development purposes, it would be helpful to show what this game would look like in a competitive mode.

Well,rokkitball just came out so I think you should wait until hey come up with some new updates (like when the new maps are out).That way it would be better because of the fact that the game has been improved and plus you can host the tournaments with different maps. Grin

Have a preliminary Friday night or Saturday night tourney. Teams are randomly assigned and a draw is done and all the games are played over a couple of hours.

Although early, this game seems really close to perfect, no lie. My buddies and I have been dominating the pub scene and would love to see some competitive play.

I just hope as they develop the game more the core gameplay stays the same, it completely owns.

I think this is a good idea, especially since there aren't many Rokkitball teams yet and a good deal of people seem in favor of this.  Also, since ping seems to be a staple to this game, i think we need to have West Coast/East Coast hosts and Euro hosts for the pickups (hopefully hosts with great connections), and possibly an IRC channel to meet in?

If you have a decent connection and want to be a host for a pickup, post it here.  I know I don't feel like lagging =)
