Current Release Notes


Known Issues:
  • Too many bots in a server can prevent players from joining.
  • On some computers, a black screen appears and locks mouse control either at launch or during play.
  • Selecting the same color for both teams causes great confusion, you should not be able to use the same primary color on both teams.
  • Ball can become stuck in jumbotron.
  • Ball can re-enter jumbotron from below (will fall back out)
  • "Hammer Throw" physics exploit.
  • No mouse sensitivity or invert mouse option.
  • Player numbers do not persist between games.
  • Long shots are erroneously reported sometimes
  • Gun attract glow sometimes is stuck in the "on" effect
  • Ball color fails to reset to white when carrying player leaves game
  • Reticle energy bar hard to read
  • Team balancing is fubar

Fixes for 1.0.0.6217
- mouse sensitivity pref added
- team auto-assign will no longer bunch up players against bots
- fixed "ball stuck in goal" problem
- players can no longer select the same color for each team

Fixes for 1.0.0.6330
- Invert mouse implemented. (Web team forgot to implement the option panel)
- Hammer throw nerf #1.
- Make sure clients are properly dropped when a host shuts down.
- Team colors will not be stomped by team manager anymore.
- Game will not report "server full" when filled with bots.
- Clients can set their team more reliably.
- Team balancing is more reliable when players join mid game.
- More reliable setting of team captains.

Rokkitball 1.0.2.6978
- Map pack 1.
- Enhanced team colors and color pack.
- Player heads.
- Party leader can specify time limit of 8, 10, 12 minutes.
- Mouse invert can now be set through the interface (click the little gear near the sound icon).
- Improved hit rocket <-> player hit detection.
- Team size now capped at four (may cause player to appear on the wrong team if switching teams right as the game is about to start).
- New end game score gui.
- Improvements to texture compression.
- More accurate reporting on long distance goals.
- Modified reload delays on attracting and rockets.
- Altered ball physics.
- Improved client side simulation.
- Adjusted hammer throw mechanic.
