Summary:
If a player from the one team passes the flag to the member of the opposing team on the ground it will not return.

Description:
If you throw the enemy flag to an enemy in the air it will be returned. If both players are on the ground and a person from one team throws it to someone from the other team, the flag will not be returned. After the flag has stopped sliding it can be returned.

I first noticed it when I was trying to intercept a flag pass between two players and the flag passed directly through me.
As I said, if you intercept it in the air it will return, if you intercept a flag that is sliding (never goes into the air) it wont.


Reproduceability:
Every time (haven't logged on today but it occurred every time yesterday).
I just had someone from the enemy team stand a few feet away from me and I passed the flag to him. It went through him every time.

If I recall correctly, this is to do with a fix for the old problem where the flag would not throw properly in OD, so now it just goes through anyone when passed along the ground.

(stationary)when throwing the flag while aiming down so that the flag lands where you are standing, it is possible to mover a few feet around it and through it without it re-picking up.
