Summary:
Terrain rendering issues out of detail range (Shadows?).

Description:
In browser or full screen mode, the terrain renders 'lines' (see image 1). These lines are either parallel or perpendicular and maintain that style throughout the map. The lines 'fade away' when in detail range and will reappear when moving out of detail range (see image 2). The lines do not initially appear in your visible distance the first time you join a map, only when you begin to initially move around (see image group 3) - lines will appear when moving back to the initial spawn location where no lines where rendered before (ie: when initially joining the map).

Update:
Just upgraded to the NVIDIA '175.16' drivers released this week and this no longer appears to be an issue. Close? Shocked

Yep, that's the terrain clip map updates failing miserably. Thanks for reporting.

To be perfectly clear, would it be correct to say that this no longer happens since you updated your drivers?

If so, do you know what driver version you were running on when you recorded those screens?

I reverted back to the NVIDIA drivers v169.21, and also went as far back to v162.65. Oddly enough this terrain issue did not reappear again. Restored my version back to v175.16 and still no terrain issue. I would think it might have been an setting I have played with in the NVIDIA control panel now, but changing values are not revealing anything new in the game. I guess I'll flag the reproduceability to never now and watch this thread fade away from existence. Cheesy

What build of legions were you using when you saw the issue?  (ctrl-f)

If you're not sure, do you happen to know the last time and date that you saw this? Your post was at 11:30-ish pm last night and the new build went up around 6pm or so.

It was version '6695' for Legions.
