Chat entry can cause shift/downjet to become permanently stuck down

Specific repro:
-opened up chat with t
-typed in shift+8 to make *
-pressed enter
-chat didn't input
-pressed esc
-unable to jet up - jetdown constantly stuck down

Must've been an intermittent bug. Doesn't happen on the test build.

I just experienced this very same bug a few games ago. I was typing a message, it failed to send, so I Esc'd and typed it out again, it sent. Then I couldn't jump/ski anymore. Was stuck going down. Had to Log out of InstantAction entirely and log back in to make it go away. It persisted between game rounds.

I think there is an issue with modifier keys like ctrl, alt and shift getting stuck down.

Shift is most noticeable because its usually bound to downjet, and therefore cocking up text inputs can get you stuck on the ground.

happened here but no shift alt or ctrl keys were used...i do recall i was in caps tho

Noticed that jetting, upjet, and downjet can all get stuck down.  I have them mapped to my right mouse button, mouse button 4, and mouse button 5 respectively.
