I am based in UK - england. I had a problem where connections to european servers where slower than to US servers.

For example average ping to shazbot servers was 200-250 where as to a european server it was 300-350.

Thanks to GReaper - I found the solution.

My router wasnt setup to expect 'Cone NAT', ive no idea what this means but after changing some settings I managed to get this setup and now I get a decent connection speed to the euro servers.

I dont know how common a problem this will be but it might be something that needs investigating.
