No patch will come out that will allow you to play the game well with 8mb of video ram.
Unfortunately Legions does not have any minimum specifications out that would tell you this, but simply put, your onboard graphics chipset simply isn't good enough to play the game. Consider upgrading.
I think quite quite a few of you are confused. melovejuliac is using an integrated graphics processor. Integrated graphics processors do not function in the same way as discreet graphics processors do (aka Video Cards). Integrated chipsets have the ability to dynamically utilize system memory as video memory. What this means is that while GPU-Z only shows 8mb of onboard video memory in reality all this means is that at minimum the Intel GPU will use 8mb.A little research reveals that the G33/G31 chipset is able to access up to 384mb of system memory for use as vram. As evidence of this I have provided below my GPU-Z and dxdiag results.

ZOMG 8mb!!!

Hmm... who to trust, some third party app or one of the most widely used graphics engines in existence?
In summary while I am not saying that integrated graphics is ideal gaming hardware it is should certainly be sufficient (and from my experiences with the torque engine, it is) to play a
browser based game game that runs in a web browser. My GM965 supports hardware level vertex shaders, pixel shading version 4.0, and can access up to 384mb of vram. If these specs do not meet at least the minimum requirements then what will?
