Connection errors:Causes:This is usually an issue either:
-Because of your router/router settings
-Or because of the router/router settings of the person whose party you are trying to join.
-Or because of a specific problem with the Torque engine (that Legions uses) and AMD dual core processors.
Solution:This is an IA issue, rather than a Legions one and therefore it is better if you don't report it here but try the troubleshooter on the
Ia support site.
If this does not help then please email the support guys at:
support@instantaction.com including the name of your router as well as a
Dxdiag of your system.
Or, if you use a 939 motherboard and an X2 AMD chip then try downloading the
Dual Core optimizer patch.
Transparent terrain and buildings:Causes:This bug is usually caused by driver settings for your graphics card interfering with the game, specifically the anti-aliasing settings.
Solution:Turn anti-aliasing off, by going to the driver settings (ATI = "Catalyst", Nvidia = "Nvidia control panel") and turning any anti-aliasing settings to "Application-controlled" or similar.
If that does not work then try updating your graphics driver.
Error 510/508 + "Pixel shader 2.0 support":Causes:This error message normally happens because your graphics processor isn't up to the task of playing Legions, usually because it is integrated with the motherboard or very old.
Solution:Try emailing
support@instantaction.com and the guys there will be happy to help you with checking whether your setup really is unable to play the game, and will try to help you with looking towards upgrading your computer so it is able to play.
Note: if there are any common issues with fixes that you would like to see addressed here, please pm me and I'll put em up.
